Abundancia Food Distribution is a local initiative led by Hispanic community members and coordinated by Tierra Fértil Cooperative since 2020 with the purpose to provide natural, nutritious and culturally- appropriate food to Hispanic community members.
Since May 2020 – during the COVID-19 pandemic - Abundancia has been supporting 150 families monthly. This initiative has allowed us to create a community network and develop a sense of belonging and solidarity among Hispanic immigrant families.
